How did a vitamin company become
interested in food?
Recently, some of our diabetic customers asked whether we
could provide help in identifying food that does not materially affect blood
sugar levels. (Such food is said to be low on the
Glycemic Index). Others asked whether we
knew of recipes for such foods. When our customers ask for help we try to
accommodate them. This seemed to be such an opportunity.
We have the
resources
 | During the past four years our Senior Vice President, Larry Sinoway, has
been on a low carbohydrate weight loss diet. Diabetics and many people who are
overweight both have an insulin disorder, and should both limit their intake
of carbohydrates. As a result, Larry become very familiar with the type
